Courses

In daily rehearsals, the musicians will prepare chamber orchestra as well as chamber music works for performance. These rehearsals will be directed by the conductor Alondra de la Parra (MEX) and artists of the Moritzburg Festival 2010. The programs will be performed for a wide audience in several concerts on tour and during the Festival.

Participants

Music students aged between 16 and 26 years
• Strings (Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass)
• Woodwinds (Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon)
• Brass (Horn, Trumpet, Trombone)
• Timpani / Drums
• Piano

Course Fee

There is no fee for participating in the Moritzburg Festival Academy.

Travel / Accomodation / Food

Participants receive full scholarships that cover travel, accomodation and food. The Moritzburg Festival will arrange the accomodation in Moritzburg. Travel expenses will be paid from and to the place of study / place of residence. Other arrangements can be agreed upon after consultation with the Festival office.

The Moritzburg Festival supplies all music.
