Chamber Music Foundation of the Moritzburg Festival

For many years, in planning our holiday we make sure that we won’t miss the chamber music concerts in Moritzburg in August. For us it is the musical highlight of the season. The quality of the performances played by an exceptional mixture of established and young soloists is unique. The interaction between the musicians is especially fascinating and is a joy to watch.

In today’s economically difficult times it’s extremely important for the Festival to have a reliable and solid financial basis. On these grounds we decided to establish the Chamber Music Foundation of the Moritzburg Festival. We help in trying to acquire further donations which are vital in covering the expenses involved in the festival.

If you would like to support our commitment and invest in the long-term future of the Moritzburg Festival you are warmly invited to make a contribution. Your support will help to preserve the chamber music concerts with their impressively high quality. The donations will be added to the endowment fund which is securely invested. In this way the accruing capital of the Chamber Music Foundation can be provided for the Moritzburg Festival as a sustainable support.

Within the next years it’s our aim to win a large number of donors for our Foundation. As a result the wonderful Festival will obtain a financial independence through your small and large donations - even in economically difficult times. Furthermore it can continue to give all of us and in the future, our children, much delight in wonderful music.
