Time to take off: We take you on an extraordinary journey with a lot to discover. How does an orchestra work? What is the conductor doing? And what can you build from a passenger machine? Mankind is fascinated by the process of creation and we are always looking forward to the results. Experience this joyful expectation up close in a spectacular hangar of the Elbe Flugzeugwerke, when this year's Moritzburg Festival Orchestra gives you a look behind the scenes.

Moderated by Jan Vogler and the conductor Josep Caballé Domenech.

Entry to the park: 10:30 am

Enjoy charming chamber music in the unique atmosphere of Proschwitz Castle park. You are welcome to bring picnic baskets, blankets and seats. There will be the opportunity to hire seats and buy drinks on site. Please note that there will be no seats provided. In case of bad weather, the concert (duration approximately 3 hrs) will take place inside Proschwitz Castle.

Since 2001, tour and guest concerts have played an important role in keeping the Festival part of the international music scene all year long. Moritzburg Festival artists have successfully toured the Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York as well as a large number of European music metropoles such as Rome, Milan, Brussels, Berlin, Hamburg, Vienna, New York and Seoul.
