Chamber Music Foundation of the Moritzburg Festival

For many years we have planned our holidays around the Moritzburg Festival so that we don’t miss its wonderful chamber music concerts. For us, it’s the highlight of the season. The quality of the performances given by an exceptional combination of established and young soloists is unique. One of the most fascinating and joyful things to watch is the interaction between the musicians. For this reason we decided to found the “Friends of the Moritzburg Festival Foundation”.

As members of this foundation we make financial contributions to help make the Festival a success. In addition to this we hope to get new members interested in the Festival and acquire further donations, which are vital in covering the expenses involved in running the Festival. In today’s economically difficult times it is particularly important for the Festival to have a solid, reliable financial basis.
If you would like to support us in investing in the long-term future of the Moritzburg Festival and preserving the high quality of the chamber music concerts, then you can do this by making a donation. Donations will be added to the securely-invested endowment fund and used where most appropriate to help develop and run the Festival. The increasing capital of the Foundation will therefore be able to provide the Festival with sustainable support.
It is our aim to gain a large number of donors for our Foundation within the next few years. As a result, this wonderful festival will be able to achieve financial independence through your donations, large or small – even in these economically difficult times. With this support the Festival can continue to give us, and even our children far in the future, musical pleasure for years to come.
